Youth Theatre

Where and When?

Epstein Youth Theatre 14-19 meet on Monday evenings, usually 6-8pm unless indicated otherwise. EYT 10-13 meet on Saturday mornings, 10am-12pm. Most sessions will take place at The Epstein Theatre. In the case of another space being booked, all participants will be made aware in advance, ideally at the start of term. If an alternative space is needed, it will usually be The Bluecoat.

Addresses:

The Epstein Theatre, Hanover House, 85 Hanover Street, Liverpool, L1 3DZ
The Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BX

How Do I Join?

There will be an open taster session at the beginning of Term 1, free of charge. If you enjoy the taster session and would like to join, you will need to complete a registration, consent and payment plan form and return to Rachael as soon as possible. There is a maximum of 22 places at EYT 14-19, and 15 places at EYT 10-13, so this will work on a first come first served basis. If you miss the taster session but are still interested in joining, please email Rachael ([email protected]) to register your interest. As spaces are limited, it is essential that you email beforehand, please don’t just turn up or you may be turned away. If we are full at the time you enquire, you can be added to our waiting list and be invited along when a place becomes available. You will also be added to the waiting list if you enquire too far into the production period.

Fees

As we are still only a new youth theatre company, unfortunately we must charge a fee to keep us going, due to lack of funding. Our aim is to work on funding applications so that, eventually, EYT will be free to attend. Until this is possible, sessions will be £5 per week, which can be paid weekly, monthly, or termly. We have cut this cost in half from the £10 per week fees last year. Paid weekly or monthly, the total cost for a 10-week term is £50. The cost if paid termly in advance will be £45, meaning one session will be free of charge.
